We’re rallying because homeowners across Florida are being mistreated, silenced, and even forced from their homes by unaccountable HOA and COA boards that operate beyond the law.
For too long, these boards and management companies have used fear and power to control communities — abusing fines, liens, and foreclosures to punish and intimidate the very people they were elected to serve. Families have been harassed, property values manipulated, and lives disrupted under the pretense of “community standards.”
We’re coming together at the Florida State Capitol to demand accountability, transparency, and real enforcement of the law.
This movement is not about politics — it’s about people. It’s about protecting families, defending property rights, and restoring fairness and peace to every community across Florida.
We are rallying because the system is broken — and because it’s been ignored for far too long. Homeowners are fined into hardship, threatened into silence, and stripped of their peace and security. This is not leadership — it’s abuse of power, and it must end.
This rally is about unity and justice. Homeowners from every corner of the state are standing together to say enough is enough. We’re demanding reform, real accountability, and the return of power to the people who live in these communities.
✅ Hold HOA and COA board members personally accountable for their actions and decisions.
We seek to ensure that when board members act with malice, violate Florida law, or abuse their authority, they face personal responsibility. No more hiding behind the corporate veil or the excuse of “acting in good faith.”
✅ Limit excessive fines and penalties.
We demand limits on how much and how often an association can fine a homeowner. Fines were meant to encourage compliance — not to serve as a source of revenue or retribution.
✅ Restrict and regulate foreclosures.
No one should ever lose their home without due process and the consent of their community. We seek to require a super-majority vote of the full membership before any foreclosure can even be considered, and we call for clear limits on foreclosure authority within HOA and COA law.
✅ Remove unilateral power from boards and management companies.
We seek to eliminate any board or management company’s ability to impose fines or initiate foreclosures without the will of the people they represent. Every homeowner deserves a vote and a voice in the actions that affect their property and their peace.
✅ Create true state enforcement and oversight.
Existing laws are routinely ignored because there is no real enforcement mechanism. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) lacks authority and resources to act.
We are calling on the State of Florida to establish a direct enforcement pathway through the Florida Department of Justice — so violations of law, fraud, harassment, and abuse by HOAs and COAs can be treated as what they are: civil rights and property rights violations.
✅ End selective enforcement and retaliation.
Homeowners should never fear speaking up. We demand legislation that protects whistleblowers, prevents retaliation, and guarantees equal treatment under the law for all residents.
We’re not asking anymore.
We’ve asked for years. We’ve written letters, filed complaints, attended hearings, and followed every process the system offers — only to see those complaints dismissed, ignored, or buried under bureaucracy.
The laws already exist, but they mean nothing without enforcement.
The agencies that were supposed to protect homeowners have failed. Boards and management companies break the law openly, knowing there will be no consequence. That ends now.
We are demanding that the State of Florida acknowledge the widespread abuse of homeowners by rogue boards and take action to correct it.
We are demanding that the state build a clear and direct pathway to law enforcement through the Department of Justice — so that no board, no management company, and no individual acting under the name of an association can hide from accountability again.
This movement is about more than reform — it’s about justice.
We’re not just rallying for ourselves. We’re rallying for every family who has been harassed, fined, silenced, or stripped of their peace by people who believe they’re above the law.
We’re here to say, loud and clear:
We’re done being ignored. We’re done being abused. And we’re done waiting.
It’s time to return ownership of associations to the people who live in them.
